What were you doing on Earth Day?Our good friends at the Singapore Zoo invited us to conduct the Tree Of Life workshop over the weekend as part of their Earth Day activities. This was a welcome break from the school outreaches that we have been conducting since January this year.
We had the privilege of meeting the hundreds of guests who were at the zoo during those two days. Many families stopped by to let their children have a hands-on session doing recycled art. It seemed like the passers-by could not help but whip out their cameras to capture the beauty and artistry of the bottle lamps.
We want to thank you if you had stopped by our booth to talk to us or let persons with intellectual disability demonstrate how to make beautiful recycled art. You have made a difference by empowering persons with intellectual disability. If you didn't have the time to stop by, don't worry, we'll be updating this blog with more Tree Of Life workshop dates.
